Events - 2nd symposium on sustainable construction and renovation

The 2nd specialist conference on "Sustainable Building and Renovation" will highlight current research findings and practical application examples. The event, organized by Naturbau Campus and HTWK in cooperation with the Leipzig Chamber of Crafts, will focus on the use of natural building materials such as clay, wood, and straw in modern construction. Questions of circular economy and regionality will be discussed, and practical solutions as well as existing hurdles will be shown. Participants will gain insights into the work of researchers and pioneers through expert lectures, can familiarize themselves with sustainable building products in a specialized exhibition, and develop visions for the future of construction in moderated discussions.
